Soundshine is a macOS audio routing app. It runs entirely on your Mac and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
What Soundshine Does Not Collect
- No audio recordings or samples
- No usage data or telemetry
- No crash reports sent to us
- No cookies or browser tracking
Audio Processing
All audio routing happens locally on your Mac using a CoreAudio driver. Audio is never sent to any server. Soundshine does not record, store, or transmit any audio.
License Activation
When you activate a license key, the key is validated and stored locally in your macOS Keychain. Your email address and activation date are stored only on your device.
Website Analytics
This website uses Abner for analytics. Abner is a privacy-first analytics service that collects no cookies, no personal data, and no fingerprinting. It is fully compliant with GDPR and CCPA by design. No consent banner is required. The data collected is limited to aggregate traffic metrics such as page views, referral sources, and general location (country-level).
